1. Delete Junk Files And Temporary Files

Step 1: Press ‘ Windows key +R‘ together in your keyboard simultaneously. A Run Box will pop up in the bottom left corner of your windows.
Step 2: Now type ” prefetch” and hit the button.
Step 3: Select all these temporary files and delete them permanently use (shift key+delete).
Step 4: Now refresh your PC and again bring the run box by pressing (windows key+R).
Step 5: Now type “%temp%” in the run box and hit OK.
Step 6: Erase all files again permanently using (shift +delete)
Step 7: Refresh your PC again.
Step 8: Now bring back the same run box and type in “temp“, and delete all temporary files.
2. Disable Your PC Screensaver
Screensaver is actually sort of animated clips that keeps running in the background always and them slow down your PC. You must disable your screensaver in order to get faster performance, further disabling also reduces battery power consumption to a great degree. Here is how to disable your screensaver-
Step 1: Right click on your computer desktop screen and select ‘Personalize’.
Step 2: Look for screensaver option (usually at the bottom right corner). Then click on it would open up the screensaver setting page.
Step 3: Then choose your screensaver as none.
3. Disable Visual Effects
Usually, visual effects suck your battery power and RAM consumption , they contribute in slowing down your PC too. So here is how you can disable visual effects of your PC.
Step 1: Open ‘My Computer’ or ‘This PC’.
Step 2: On the left sidebar right click on ‘ this PC’ or ‘ my computer ‘ and then select ‘ Properties ‘ from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Look for the ‘ Advanced System Settings ‘ and click on it. The system properties window will appear.

4. Disable Startup Programs

Step 1: Bring the run box, by (windows key +r).
Step 2: Type ‘ MSConfig’ and hit ‘ok‘ bottom and then switch to the startup tab.
If you are running window then you can directly disable startup program from here only. And windows 8, 8.1 and 10 user’s can open task manager to disable startup programs.
Step 3: Just click on the programs you wish to disable and once done, close the window.
5. Clean Up Your Hard Drive- Disk Clean Up
Hard Drive is the home to all file for useful over and the unwanted ones too. You must clean up all temporary and malicious file (if any) from hand drive on regulator basis.

Step 1: Open ‘ My Computer ‘
Step 2: Right click on local disk (c), or the one where your files and programs are installed.
Step 3: Click on ‘ disk clean up’ option, then files. Once all files with memory sizes appear click on ‘ok’ and delete all files.

Step 2. Switch to Tools tab and then click on Options, This will take you to Optimize Drive Window.
Step 3. Select the drive and then click on Analyze. Wait till final analyzation.
Step 4. After the analyze completed, click on Optimize. Now wait for the complete defragmentation process.
